I'm a stickler for the type of lavender essential oil that I use. Today's value is a set of my two facial cleansing soaps in Pomegranate and Rain for $7.95, regularly $4.75 each. I formulated these soaps just for my personal use when I made a decision to eliminate the chemicals found in personal care products from my daily regime. I've never regretted the move once. Soap Balls and Soap Shavings

From start to finish handcrafted soaps are just that, handcrafted. When the soaps come out of the mold they have to be cut, then shaped. I smooth off the tops of the soaps with a cheese planer, then I bevel the edges. The byproduct of this handcrafted process is scraps! I hand mold these scraps into soap balls and then I select pretty shavings and put them in bags of "soap potpourri". Each bag of shavings contains a soap ball, as well. Shavings and soap balls make sweet little aromatic displays in your bathroom as well as single serve guest soaps.
